The Green

Isn't it great to get all that money deposted straight into your checkings/savings/401k/etc. accounts every pay period? I love it - but I get anxious for every 15 days to come so I can look at my accounts and say, "ya, that feels good."

Six months ago I decided to start being smarter with my cash. After admitting how stupid I am financially, I started wising up. I figured it meant having less fun and I committed to start saving a few hundred bucks each month. Slowly but surely, I've stuck with it. I've also paid off both my credit cards, bought a new computer, and started chipping away at my student loans. I'm also avoiding "stupid" fees. No ATM fees, no overstatement fees, no late payment fees, etc. - those things just make me sick to my stomach.

It hasn't been long and I'm sure it's one of the smartest things I've done in the past few years - and it's time to celebrate. My next financial move - a vacation in FLA.

A golf course is calling...

Next up ... your Roth IRA, right?

Or, you can open up a brand-new savings plan. It's called the "Buy a Jack Russell" fund. It comes highly recommended by none other than Suze Orman.
