Sleepy
It's Tuesday – and I'm exhausted. Ok, it's not like I'm feeling 60 or anything, but I have had problem sleeping lately. I jump into bed, twist and turn, stare at the ceiling, twist and turn, look up at the clock, think "ugh, I'm going to be tired tomorrow," and then roll around in my sheets again like I'm trying to be a sandwich wrap or something. Last night, I turned off the tv at 11:45 p.m., and last remember being awake around 3:15 a.m.
Imagine to yourself that you were in fact an insomniac. Your body feels exhausted, you lay down in bed, but it just doesn't happen. You look around, keep thinking about odd things in your head, just stare at the darkness around complete silence. Now just imagine that continues endlessly, for a few days, a week, two weeks, and on and on.
Would you lose your sanity? I most definitely would. Maybe I'll be on the safe side tonight – go out and get a sleep aid. I've tried everything else: counting fuzzy sheep, having warm milk, reading a boring book. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem for the first month that I was in Washington. Now, I take Tylenol P.M. regularly. But I'm down to one pill a night. I easily fall asleep, and I'm not that groggy in the morning.
